‘MCC asked not to release UGD water’
by InsideOut Consult · Star of MysoreThe Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has been instructed not to release UGD water into Karanji Lake. The issue was brought to the notice of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. During his visit to the lake on World Environment Day, MP Yaduveer Wadiyar also assured us that the problem would be resolved at the earliest. We have repeatedly raised the matter with the District Administration and even the Deputy Commissioner has assured action. However, no concrete steps have been taken so far.
