• Superstar visits Chamundi Hill, seeks blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari
• Actor to shoot in Somanathpur and surrounding locations for 10 days

Mysuru: Superstar Rajinikanth, who is currently shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Dharman’ at Somanathpur and surrounding locations, visited Sri Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill in Mysuru this morning and sought the blessings of the Goddess.

On arrival atop the Hill, Rajinikanth visited the temple and offered prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari. Following this, he was felicitated by the temple priests with a shawl and a garland. The actor was dressed in simple white dhoti and kurta.

His visit was kept private as the Police or Sri Chamundeshwari Temple Development Authority were not informed about his visit.

Family members of late Dr. Vishnuvardhan including Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, daughter Keerthi Vishnu-vardhan, son-in-law Aniruddha Jatkar, grandchildren Shloka Jatkar and Jyestavardhan Jatkar with  Rajinikanth at Somanathpur in Mysuru yesterday.

According to sources, Rajinikanth, who is staying at a private hotel in Mysuru, will be shooting in Mysuru for the next 10 days. The movie is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Turmeric Media.

Actress Sreeleela, who is currently shooting for ‘Dharman’ along with Rajinikanth, visited Sri Chamundeshwari Temple yesterday.

‘Dharman’ stars actors such as Sreeleela, Ram Pothineni, Simran, Raashii Khanna and Yogi Babu. It is said, the movie will hit the screens for Sankranti next year.

Rajinikanth also met the family members of late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan including Actress Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, daughter Keerthi, son-in-law Aniruddha Jatkar, grandchildren Shloka Jatkar and Jyestavardhan Jatkar at Somanathpur yesterday.

Actress Sreeleela, who is also a part of the movie, visited Sri Chamundeshwari Temple yesterday and sought the blessings of the deity.
