The Critics Choice Awards, presented by a group of more than 500 broadcast critics and journalists, are being presented tonight at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Going into the ceremony, “Sinners,” Ryan Coogler’s supernatural exploration of American history and race, led with 17 nominations, including best picture, director and screenplay. Several of its stars — Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku and Miles Caton — are also up for acting honors.

Though “One Battle After Another,” the Paul Thomas Anderson drama about leftist radicals and white nationalists, has been a front-runner during awards season, it was second in the Critics Choice nominations tally with 14.

On the television side, “Adolescence,” the Netflix limited series about a young boy suspected of murder, led the field with six nominations, followed by “Nobody Wants This,” another Netflix series, with five nominations.

Chelsea Handler is the host of the ceremony, which you can watch the ceremony live on the E! and USA Network cable channels and on USANetwork.com. Or check back here as we update the list of winners live.
