Every single One Direction album set to re-enter UK chart after Liam Payne's death

by · ChronicleLive

Following the tragic death of Liam Payne, all of One Direction's studio albums are poised to make a comeback in the UK albums chart top 40, according to the Official Charts Company. The singer, aged 31, passed away last week after a fall from the third-storey balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Argentina.

Since his sad death, heartfelt tributes have been flooding in for the star, who rose to fame with the boy band on ITV's The X Factor in 2010. Currently, their 2012 album 'Take Me Home' is set to re-enter at number 12, while 'Midnight Memories' from 2013 could reach number 13.

Also climbing the charts is 2015's 'Made In The AM', predicted to hit number 15, and 2014's 'Four' looking to secure the number 20 spot. Their debut album from 2011, 'Up All Night', is expected to return at number 33.

Additionally, several of the group's singles are likely to reappear on the singles chart this week, with the ballad 'Night Changes' anticipated to reach number 13. Payne's solo efforts are also making waves, with three tracks forecasted to enter the top 75; 'For You' with Rita Ora at 67, 'Strip That Down' featuring Quavo at 73, and his last release 'Teardrops' set to debut at 66 on Friday.

Payne's former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik expressed in a joint statement that they are "completely devastated" by the loss and will "terribly" miss him.

In other news, Kylie Minogue's latest album 'Tension II' is predicted to secure the top spot on the UK charts this Friday, marking her 10th number one album. However, she faces stiff competition from Rag N’ Bone Man, whose recent LP 'What Do You Believe In?' is currently holding the second position.

The remaining spots in the top five are occupied by Sabrina Carpenter’s 'Short N’ Sweet', Confidence Man’s '3AM (La La La)', and Charli XCX’s 'Brat'.
