Road to Empress II Release Date Set

We’ll once again rise to the challenge of royalty in a New One Studio game soon, as details arrived alongside BitSummit Punch 2026. Road to Empress II, the sequel to the 2025 FMV adventure, got a release date for three platforms. It will show up on the PC, Android devices, and iOS devices on June 9, 2026. Only the Switch version’s release date is unknown.

Road to Empress II chronicles a rise from nobody to royalty. Our heroine is a Ganye Temple nun who must deal with members at court and influential people to work her way up to the empress. The sequel will allow people to issue edicts to determine the laws and course of the empire and go over “official correspondence.” Depending on the choices we make and people we support, we can reach different endings. At the end, a personality trait sketch will be shared that goes over what kind of ruler and person we turned out to be.

We’ll see more from New One Studio aside from this sequel. Both the first and second game are headed to the Switch. Those are expected to arrive in 2026, though exact dates weren’t announced for the ports yet.

Road to Empress II will come to the PC and both Android and iOS mobile devices, and the release date for those versions is June 9, 2026. The Switch version of the original game and sequel are in development.
