Tickets go on sale next month

Secret Cinema has announced plans for a Pirates Of The Caribbean immersive production in 2027.

Created in 2007, Secret Cinema puts on immersive and surprise screenings of films that include interactive elements and performances from live actors. Previous successful events include screening Back To The Future in a replica of the film’s Hill Valley set, and a recreation of the Starcourt Mall from Stranger Things.

Now, it is bringing Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Black Pearl to London in February next year for an immersive experience “which invites audiences to step inside a swashbuckling celebration like no other. Featuring cinematic-scale immersive sets, live theatrical performances, dazzling stunts and a live band, this is an all-hands-on-deck spectacle that brings the spirit, humour and adventure of the films vividly to life”.

For 10 weeks, fans will be plunged into the world of Pirates Of The Caribbean with the “freedom to roam richly detailed environments, encounter iconic characters, and become part of the story themselves. Every night unfolds as a high-energy adventure, culminating in a spectacular celebration worthy of the seven seas”.

Fans can sign up for pre-sale tickets here before tickets go on general sale on June 1.

Merritt Baer, Artistic Director of Secret Cinema, added: “Get ready for high jinks on the high seas! With epic aerial stunts, fearless swordfights and a cast of your favourite swashbuckling pirates, where better to invite audiences than raucous Tortuga and aboard the Black Pearl for the ultimate cinematic adventure: Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean.

“We can’t wait to open our new flagship venue at Greenwich Peninsula, minutes from The O2, with the world premiere of Secret Cinema presents Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure – a journey that we promise will blur the lines between film, theatre and live spectacle in Secret Cinema’s most ambitious production ever.”

It comes after Orlando Bloom recently said he would like to see a full Pirates Of The Caribbean reunion with Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp.
