Developed by Arcanaut Studios, led be Casey Hudson who developed the original Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect games, the game is set to be a single-player, narrative driven RPG and serve as a spiritual successor to Knights of the Old Republic. Here is what we know.
‘Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic’ release date speculation
Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic will be released before 2030 according to Casey Hudson. However, the game is still in early development so we would expect it to be a 2028 or 2029 release.
There are no platform announcements currently, but we can expect it to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
‘Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic’ story details
Details on the game are light, but it is described as the following:
“Led by Casey Hudson, game director of the original Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic and the Mass Effect trilogy, the team of veteran game developers and storytellers at Arcanaut Studios is crafting an epic interactive saga across a galaxy on the brink of rebirth where every decision shapes your path towards light or darkness.”
“Working on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was one of the defining experiences of my career,” says Casey Hudson. “With Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, we’re telling a completely new and different story with everything we’ve learned since – crafting an adventure about choice, destiny, and the timeless struggle between light and dark.
