The first images of House Of The Dragon star Matt Smith sporting a mohican in the new Darren Aronofsky film, Caught Stealing have been shared.

The actor was seen on set showing off his new look, which you can view below, alongside Austin Butler in New York yesterday (October 2). It is unclear who he is portraying in the movie.

He is starring alongside Zoë Kravitz (The BatmanBlink Twice), Regina King (If Beale Street Could TalkBoyz N The Hood) and Liev Schreiber (The Perfect CoupleRay Donovan) in the new movie, which is based on Charlie Huston’s 2004 novel of the same name.

According to a synopsis (via The Hollywood Reporter), the movie “follows Hank Thompson, a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ‘90s N.Y.C.”

Bad Bunny and Action Bronson were recently confirmed to star in The Whale director’s new movie.

The former recently signed on for Netflix‘s Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler. His most high-profile acting job to date is as The Wolf in the 2022 action comedy Bullet Train.

Smith meanwhile, will return for a third season of HBO‘s Game Of Thrones spin-off, House Of The Dragon, with new episodes expected to arrive in 2026.

The second season recently aired its finale, which drew criticism from fans due to the story’s lack of progress.
