Taylor Swift has pushed forward the release date for the final two episodes of her new docuseries The End Of An Era.

The first two instalments of the six-part documentary landed on Disney+ last Friday (December 12), with the next pair arriving today (Friday December 19). Swift had initially been scheduled to drop the last two parts on Boxing Day (December 26).

However, it has now been confirmed that fans will be able to watch episodes five and six two days early, on Tuesday December 23. Disney+ confirmed the change while sharing a “first look” at episodes three and four.

“As an early gift to fans around the world, the final two episodes will premiere early on December 23 at 12am PT, only on Disney+,” a post from the streaming platform read.

In a video message, Swift said: “I wanted to say thank you so much for watching The End Of An Era, and The Final Show […] And the final two episodes are gonna be out on December 23. Thank you for everything. Happy holidays, you guys.”

In a three-star review of The End Of An Era, NME described the series as “solid content for Swifties wanting to relive the tour’s huge collective dopamine hit”.

“There’s a great documentary to be made about the ‘Eras Tour’, but it’s probably an unofficial one exploring the unique sense of community it fostered among the singer’s fanbase,” it reads.

The doc covers moments such as Swift handing out millions of dollars in bonuses to her live crew, breaking down in tears over the Southport stabbing attack, and getting emotional over a foiled terrorist plot targeting her dates in Vienna.

Viewers also get a peek behind the scenes as the pop giant rehearses for the massive run of concerts. There are numerous special guest appearances, too, including Florence Welch, Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter – all of whom joined Swift on stage on the ‘Eras Tour’.

In one episode, Welch reflected on the “terrifying” experience of performing the duet ‘Florida!!!’ with Swift at Wembley Stadium in London.

“The feeling of coming up for the first time in that lift, it was kind of like landing on Mars, ‘cause I’d never seen the stage lit up before,” she said.

“It’s like, you see this cultural moment from the outside, and I suddenly was inside of it. It was wild, but it was really fun and completely terrifying.”

The ‘Eras Tour’ grossed a record-breaking $2billion through ticket sales, with Swift playing 149 shows in 51 cities across five continents. The singer boosted local economies and made headlines for the charity work she did along the way.

Swift released her 12th studio album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, in October. Speaking upon its release, she admitted that she still thought about the ‘Eras Tour’ “every day” but said she had no desire to head back out on the road yet.

In other news, Taylor Swift has quietly changed the lyrics of two ‘Reputation’ tracks, fuelling speculation among fans. Last month, it was reported that she had secretly flown 3,500 miles in a private jet to film a music video in Croydon.
