RAYE shut down a whole street in London to film a new music video yesterday (Tuesday January 6).

The South London singer-songwriter surprised local residents in Walthamstow when she turned up and started dancing in a red velvet dress in the street.

An insider told The Sun: “While most people stayed at home because the weather was so cold, Raye was a total trooper and got to work on a big, top-secret new video.”

They added: “The project was shrouded in secrecy and residents on the road had only been told the street was being shut for filming. No one knew who the star was.

“Then RAYE came out and she was incredible. It was so cold out there but she was dancing and singing in this velvet dress like a total pro. There was a fake zebra crossing drawn on the road and she was skipping over it.”

It comes after her recent single ‘Where Is My Husband!‘ claimed this week’s Number One spot in the official singles chart. It took the top spot after 15 weeks in the chart and her second time reaching the summit.
