The trailer, released November 5, follows BTS’ RM during studio sessions, live performances and in his downtime with friends. The video includes a preview of the K-pop star wondering what his place is in the industry, as he asks: “What does it mean to be a K-pop star at 30?”
“I always pushed my limits,” he tells the camera as more footage of himself working on music in the studio plays. “I’d try to see to what extent I could be truly honest with myself as RM, or as Kim Nam-joon.”
RM: Right People, Wrong Place will hit theatres across the globe on December 5, with tickets going on sale today (November 6) onwards and a secondary ticket sale on November 20.
The upcoming documentary film will focus on the eight months prior to RM’s military enlistment in December 2023, which he spent writing and recording his second solo album ‘Right People, Wrong Place’, according to a press release.
RM: Right People, Wrong Place will be primarily set in the locations where “RM intensely worked on his album”, taking viewers “on a journey through Seoul, Tokyo and London, offering an in-depth look at the creative process behind RM’s second solo album”.

The song was later added as a bonus track on Megan’s ‘MEGAN: Act II’, which dropped last month. The record also included a brand-new remix of her viral single ‘Mamushi’, featuring K-pop girl group TWICE.
