Ashnikko has released a Simlish version of their blistering Halloween anthem ‘Halloweenie 6: Possess Me’.

The track is part of The Sims 4 new Life And Death expansion. “For some Sims, leaving life behind is hard to do. With The Sims 4 Life & Death Expansion Pack, players can let their Sims linger on as playable household members where they can wreak havoc on the living or lend a helping hand,” explains a developer blog.

The expansion also features Ashnikko’s ‘Halloweenie 6: Possess Me’, sung entirely in The Sims’ own language. “Huge moment for me. The Simlish version of ‘Halloweenie 6: Possess Me’ is in the new Life & Death expansion,” they wrote on social media. “You can romance the grim reaper, bathe in the river styx, perform occult magic, scare the living, and canonically listen to Ashnikko!!!”

“Lol. There’s no Simlish word for lexapro,” she added alongside footage of her recording the track, with the anti-anxiety medicine mentioned in the lyrics to the track.

Ashnikko has released a ‘Halloweenie’ song every Halloween for the past six years, but ‘Possess Me’ is set to be the final entry in the long-running collection of singles. “For the sixth and final installment of my ‘Halloweenie’ series, I wanted to write something playful, euphoric, carnal, supernatural. in my dreamscape, it soundtracks a gathering of creatures in the darkest part of the forest, all writhing together, dancing, sweating, swapping fluids and ectoplasm,” she explained in a press release.

The alt-popstar also performed the anthem for Netflix’s League Of Legends-inspired show Arcane. ‘Paint The Town Blue’ was the lead single from the season two soundtrack, while an accompanying music video saw Ashnikko channel her inner-Jinx, one of League Of Legends’ most popular heroes.
