Shubman Gill recovered from a poor start in the Chennai Test against Bangladesh as he completed his fifth century in the longest format of the game having recorded a duck in the first innings. Earlier, Rishabh Pant also completed his century as India are in comfortable position in the first Test.

Gill, who didn't have a great outing in Duleep Trophy, has been a but under pressure in the last couple of months since being touted as the next Indian captain, however, in the second innings, he put his head down and completed a magnificent knock.
