Bideford-based Fearnley Lott Architects scoop three prestigious design awards

The firm took home awards for Best Conversion, Best Residential Extension, and Best Medium Size Housing Development

A North Devon firm of architects is celebrating a raft of design awards.

Fearnley Lott Architects, who are based in Bideford, have won three awards in the LABC Regional design awards.

The company was awarded Best Conversion to Residential dwelling for the Water Tower at Clovelly, Best Residential Extension for a private dwelling in Northam. The third was for Best Medium Size housing development for the Chichester Homes Developments Ltd Tides Reach, Appledore.

Rebecca Fearnley, a partner at the architects practice said: “We entered three categories this year, and won each of the categories.

“We have now been invited to the annual awards dinner in London in contention of a national award.

“This award is supported by Local Authority Building Control, and all projects were supported by Torridge District Council Building Control Department.

“We submitted these projects as they were all interesting and technically challenging, with high quality outcomes.

“We faced different challenges on each project, and its great to celebrate such successful outcomes.

“These projects all come with determined clients who strive for excellence in terms of quality and design.”
