Strictly Come Dancing star shares racy confession after cheeky encounter with 'celebrity crush'

Strictly Come Dancing sensation Sarah Hadland has made a risqué admission regarding her encounter with her ultimate celebrity infatuation, who she considers to be "gorgeous."

Appearing in a past edition of the podcast Crushed, hosted by Margaret Cabourn-Smith, Hadland detailed meeting her favourite rockstar at the Royal Variety Performance. She confessed to the unexpected nature of the meeting, having donned an outfit that made her feel like a "children's TV presenter" complete with a "girly dress and Converse" and her hair styled with a "little fringe".

Sarah gushed: "My all-time crush is Brandon Flowers from The Killers. Ahh, I just think he's so sexy. I've seen his show about a million times. I just think he's gorgeous."

Recounting the event, she said, "But I did the Royal Variety Show and the headline band...they hadn't put down what it was and I didn't register it and I was doing Miranda."

She went on: "So I was sort of in a Stevie kind of a little...very little girly dress and Converse with a little fringe, looking like a children's TV presenter/somebody sort of that's gone, 'I was really happy when I was 12 and I'm going to recreate that forever'.", reports the Express.

The renowned Miranda actress divulged how, after hearing someone mention The Killers, she darted to the stage side only to find Brandon standing there alone. Despite feeling overwhelmed and struggling to articulate her admiration, fortunately for Sarah, Brandon gathered the situation and offered to take a photograph with her.

She elaborated: "And I stood with him and I look like I've gone on a day trip to meet him and as part of a charity. That's what I look like and he just looks gorgeous."

"And he, in fact, he even said, 'Do you want to take another one because the lighting is behind' and Nicola was fumbling and I was a bit like, 'No; forget it'."

When asked if the photo was "enough" or if she had an urge to "come on to him", Sarah hinted that Brandon could have engaged in a sexual act with her during the show and "there would not have been a peep". Sarah, who is dancing with Vito Coppola on Strictly Come Dancing, resumed training this week.

In their recent Samba performance to Rafaella Carrà's Do It Again, they sported vibrant pink and yellow costumes. The judges have commended her efforts, with Shirley Ballas describing her as "an absolute charm to watch" and Motsi Mabuse recognising her as a "force".

They scored 32 out of 40 points for their dance, but some MEN readers felt their score should have been higher.
