Amazon knocks over £500 off 'superb' 65" Samsung TV with 'pin sharp' picture quality

Samsung's latest QLED 4K TV has been hailed as "superb", with a "pin sharp" picture quality and a "splendid" sound - and now, the 65" TV can be yours for as little as £676, as Amazon has knocked a whopping 44% off the retail price of the device.

Usually priced at £1,199, you can now save over £500 on the 65-inch version of this Samsung Q60D, which is one of the brand's newest models, having launched in April this year.

This is a complete steal for the high-end specifications that the TV offers, including Quantum Dot LED technology, which boosts the brightness, and "transforms light into lifelike and accurate colour", according to the product description.

As such, you can expect breathtaking picture quality and vibrant colours, opening up previously hidden depth and detail.

This TV also features sound that moves with the action on-screen (known as Object Tracking Sound Lite), immersing you right in the heart of the action. Given Samsung's reputation for producing some of the best TVs on the market, this deal is hard to resist, reports the Express.

The picture and sound quality are further enhanced by a processor that upgrades the quality to 4K, and optimises sound based on what's playing. And with a generous 65-inch screen, you'll feel like you've got your own home cinema.

One happy buyer wrote: "Don't hesitate to buy. Good picture straight out of the box, but easy to refine to great by following 1 or 2 YouTube guides. Sound is substantial enough without sound bar. Once set up the TV is much much quicker to respond to inputs.

"Just generally a very good buy. Picture is pin sharp even when checking at 12 inch distance. Ours is 55 inch, and is still sharp when viewing from three or four meters away."

Another added: "This Samsung TV is a splendid package. It entertains with beautiful, vibrant colours and splendid clear sound. The picture is breathtaking sharp and, best of all, it is economical with power usage."

However, not everyone was blown away by this TV, as one wrote: "Don’t waste the money purchasing this product, pay a bit more for a better Samsung TV (either NEO QLED or OLED). Bad blooming occurs, lines on the TV, just really poor quality."
