Rolling Stone ranked Heat as No. 28 on its list of "The 100 Greatest Movies of the '90s."

At the 45th Academy Awards in 1973, it was nominated for 10 awards, winning Best Picture, Best Actor for Brando (which he notably declined), and Best Adapted Screenplay.

At the 63rd Academy Awards in 1991, Goodfellas was nominated for six awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Joe Pesci won Best Supporting Actor for his work as Tommy DeVito. Vulture named it one of the best movies that lost Best Picture at the Oscars.

The second collaboration between Martin Scorsese and Nicholas Pileggi, Casino is based on Pileggi's non-fiction book, Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas. The film follows Sam "Ace" Rothstein (Robert De Niro), a meticulous gambling handicapper, who is asked by the mafia to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tangiers Casino in Las Vegas. Under Ace's management, the casino booms and becomes profitable, with the mob quietly skimming millions. Casino explores the mafia's control over Las Vegas in the 1970s and '80s. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Sharon Stone for Best Actress in 1996.

However, things get complicated when Doug MacRay (Affleck) begins to fall for Claire (Rebecca Hall), a victim of one of their previous robberies. The Town received an Academy Award nomination for Jeremy Renner for Best Supporting Actor in 2011.

Starring Josh Duhamel and Dylan Sprouse, the new film follows Det. Shaw, a small-town cop who is on the verge of retiring after a long career. He's looking forward to spending more time with his family, namely his teenage son. 

However, on the last day of his job, a young man comes into the precinct to report a murder. Suddenly, Shaw is face-to-face with a serial killer, known as "The Kid," who has kidnapped and buried his son. Now, it's a race against the clock for Shaw to solve three murders before his son runs out of air. All the perfectly laid-out clues lead him closer to the truth and why this is all happening in the first place.
