Rachel Zegler And Kit Connor Finally Did The Puppy Interview, And It's So Wholesome And Adorable

You've asked. You've begged. Absolutely adorable and delightful humans Rachel Zegler and Kit Connor swung by BuzzFeed to finally do our puppy interview.

When we say it was one of the cutest days on a puppy interview set, we're not kidding. I mean, look at them.

To celebrate their Broadway debuts in Romeo + Juliet, we asked Kit and Rachel all of our burning questions about performing the classic Shakespeare play on Broadway, their respective work in TV shows like Heartstopper and movies like The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, as well as questions about themselves that we kind of just wanted to know the answers to.

Directed by Sam Gold and featuring music by Jack Antonoff, Romeo + Juliet puts a modern spin on the iconic play by William Shakespeare.

Starting off, Kit revealed what happens backstage at Romeo + Juliet when he briefly leaves the stage during the balcony scene. The scene has gone viral online because Kit, as Romeo, does a pull-up to reach Rachel's Juliet.

Meanwhile, Rachel discussed what it was like working with Jack Antonoff and singing original songs written by him in Romeo + Juliet.

We also had time to chat about some of their other projects. So, Kit told this hilarious story about how, while filming an intimate scene with Joe Locke for Heartstopper Season 3, he farted, and it broke the tension.

Rachel revealed that when she finished filming a movie, she likes to take an "accessory" that her character wore, so for The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, she took Lucy Gray Baird's ring.

In conclusion, they absolutely fell in love with these puppies, and I think the puppies fell in love with them, too.
