Fall Is Officially Here — Here’s Your 2024 Fall Fashion Cheat Sheet

Fall is here, and from back-to-school to work to parties, here's a guide on what to wear:

1. Comfy and Professional

Oversized tops and bottoms with professional flair combine work with play. Pictured in Paris, a guest of Fashion Week wears a fringed-sleeve white shirt with olive pants and a matching olive belt. The sharp black heels also match the black bag. 

2. Draped Satin Dresses

Draped dresses and tops with a satin finish continue the trend of blending comfort with polish and style. Here, a Paris Fashion Week guest wears a night outfit and a clutch bag. 

3. Matching Your Outfit with a Bag

Remember when people matched their outfits with their pets? Now the trend has gone to handbags and other accessories. In Paris, a Fashion Week guest is wearing a matching polka dot dress and bag. 

4. Business with a Twist

Business wear is making a comeback but in a slightly different form with V-necks, oversized shoulder pads, and flared pants. Here, Magda Swider wears a monochrome business outfit in Paris. 

5. Monochrome Outfits with Friends

If you're all going out together, then why not coordinate? Matching with friends is a big trend for the fall, and also a good strategy for finding friends in a crowd. Here a group attends Paris Fashion Week.  

6. Faux Fur

7. All Jeans and Some Trim

8. Bold Red

9. Glam and Bold Prints with Your BFF

Fun styles with friends are also making a comeback, reminiscent of the early '90s. Whether the prints are paisley or snakeskin-inspired, choosing bright colors in these styles is popular this season. 10. Textures

11. Long Coats

12. Yellow Attire

13. Bold Flair, and More Fun with Friends

14. Green Attire
