If you needed a reason to smile today, this is it. Ahead of Bluey’s official debut at Disneyland this weekend (more on that below), an adorable new crossover short is about to drop...and we’ve got your exclusive first look.
In a brand-new short, Mickey Mouse and his iconic friends literally tumble into Bluey’s world, where they join Bluey and her family in a game of Musical Statues. And, yup, it’s as cute as it sounds. The short officially premieres on Disney+ and Disney Jr. later today, but you can watch it first right here:
If you’re a fan of Disney Jr.’s Mickey Mouse Clubhouse universe, you might recognize this format. The short is part of the ongoing Mickey+ series, where Mickey and the gang meet other beloved characters — including Stitch and Spidey — but this might be the most wholesome collab yet.
And, fun fact: This marks the first-ever on-screen crossover between Mickey and Bluey. This adorableness was brought to life through a collaboration between Disney, Ludo Studio (the creators of Bluey), and BBC Studios.
And if that wasn’t enough for you, Disneyland is going all in — because if you’re heading to the parks soon, there’s even more Bluey magic on the way:
Beginning March 22, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” will take over the reimagined Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park. Bluey and Bingo will appear throughout the day alongside live performers, musicians, and some very familiar friends — all bringing that unmistakable “best day ever” energy to life.
