If you’re the sort of person to keep up with pop culture, then you’re probably familiar with Inde Navarrette, the breakout star of Curry Barker’s horror movie hit Obsession, which was released in theaters earlier this year.

You might be less familiar with Malcolm Todd, a singer-songwriter who rose to prominence on TikTok. He’s the son of TV writer Tim Hobert, and his sister is the singer-songwriter Audrey Hobert.

Well, Inde and Malcolm have now teamed up for a social media video that is going viral for how seemingly awkward it is.
You see, Malcolm enlisted Inde to help promote his song “Obsessica,” with the two making a video lip-syncing to the track.

The short clip starts with Malcolm and Inde leaning on either side of a column, as the lyrics: “I’m a Virgo / You’re a Taurus / Charts say no, let’s just ignore it,” play out.
As they walk, Malcolm puts his arm around Inde, who is dramatically shorter than he is. And in the last six seconds of the video, viewers have noticed that it looks as though Inde is trying to pull Malcolm’s arm off of her, but he holds firm.
Drawing attention to how awkward the whole thing looks, one viral post quote-tweets the TikTok and asks: “did they have time to do a second take where she isn’t pulling his hand off her or did she need to get out of there.” Somebody else replied: “It looks so uncomfortable like he’s crushing her.”
The sentiment was the same over on TikTok too, where one person commented: “she actively tryna pull you off of her and you just kept squeezing tighter.”
