“Something Definitely Off Here”: A Viral Clip Has People Genuinely Convinced That Usher Hired A “Clone” To Perform For Him On Tour — And Now He’s Responded
In today's edition of bizarre things taking place on the internet: Usher has been accused of using a "clone" to perform in his place on tour.

Yep, in case you've not seen, videos from Usher and Chris Brown's joint Raymond & Brown Tour are going viral because people thought Usher looked a little different than usual. "Usher you can’t fool New York that’s not you bro i want my money back," reads one viral post with over 4.6 million views on X.

Clips of the so-called "fake Usher" performing at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Aug. 7 have picked up a lot of traction on social media, with people analyzing everything from his dance moves to his tattoos. And now, (actual) Usher has weighed in on the viral theory himself.

On Sunday, the official Raymond & Brown Tour Instagram page posted one of the viral "fake" Usher clips, and over the top, they added an Instagram comment from Usher's verified account.

"Ya’ll are funny…clone? They can’t clone this??" the singer wrote, clearly laughing it off. "How ya’ll come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced."
But, despite hearing from the man himself, fans are still not convinced. "Nah. I been studying [Usher's] moves for 20 years. That’s not him…," one user commented on the IG post. "[Usher's] moves are a lot more fluid than that."
