The BET Awards may be over for another year, but the conversation is only just getting started, with fans already calling it "the best BET Awards" yet.

Whether you watched live or are catching up through your timeline, here are five of the biggest viral moments everyone is talking about from the 2026 BET Awards.

Teyana Taylor wins big

Teyana Taylor had a night to remember, taking home four awards, including the Fashion Vanguard Award, Best Actress, and Video Director of the Year for her short film Escape Room, as well as the coveted Icon of the Year honour presented by Janet Jackson.

Her emotional acceptance speech soon took over feeds far and wide, with Taylor telling Jackson, “there would be no me without you”.

“I’ve worked my ass off for 20 years for this. So I’m not accepting what I’ve earned with arrogance; I’m accepting what I’ve earned with gratitude,” she said.

The only reasonable reaction to being given an award by your idol! 😭
