The source added that Ella recently stepped out for an event on her own without her father accompanying her. They were referring to her walking the runway for Italian high fashion brand Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week. According to the family friend, it was one of Ella Bleu's rare chances to shine under the spotlight and stay out of her father's shadow. Ella's father is an iconic Hollywood figure, so naturally there has been pressure and expectations to carry forward the legacy.

"Ella really wants to prove herself," the insider said, noting that she was thrilled to be cast by Miu Miu. They added, "She wants to show the world she has talent" and isn't just getting by on her famous surname alone. However, she hasn't gotten proper opportunities in either of her interests- acting and music. According to the family friend, music is Ella's true "passion, and she is very good at it," but she's been "frustrated" by the response to the small batch of songs she has released.

Growing up around her father's sets has also sparked an interest in acting in Elle, but again, "opportunities have not been there yet,' the family friend added. The insider also shared that John Travolta's daughter is "very gentle'" and "extremely sweet and warm," so they worry that "maybe Hollywood is too mean for her."
