Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky may have quietly tied the knot after an alleged elopement, at least according to people in the singer's circle. While the couple has yet to confirm the marriage buzz, insiders have dropped some major clues that the Die With a Smile singer may have already married. Some of these clues came from Gaga's side as well!

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have reportedly been MIA for over a month

Gaga and Polansky reportedly became difficult to reach following the end of her Mayhem Ball world tour. An insider told the Daily Mail that people close to the 40-year-old singer believe she and Polansky may have slipped away for a private wedding and honeymoon. The source claimed, "No one has seen her or heard from her in over a month."

The insider added that Gaga's friends think she may be on her honeymoon with Polansky and focusing on starting a family. There is no official confirmation that the couple has married. Gaga also hasn't completely disappeared from public view. She has remained active on social media, including posts promoting her beauty brand Haus Labs, and recently gave fans another look at the engagement ring that first sparked marriage speculation.

Gaga's decision to stay mostly out of the spotlight has especially caught attention because she has previously suggested that she and Polansky wouldn't necessarily want a traditional celebrity wedding. The singer completed her Mayhem Ball tour in April 2026 after a year of major performances and appearances. She later skipped the 2026 Met Gala and has made relatively few public appearances since then.

Still, Gaga hasn't completely withdrawn from the public eye. She and Polansky were reportedly seen at the July 2026 wedding of her longtime manager Bobby Campbell and Robert García. She has also continued using Instagram to connect with fans and promote her work.

The biggest clue was revealed by Gaga herself when she said earlier this year that a wedding was coming. During a March 2026 appearance on Bruno Mars' Romantic Radio iHeartRadio livestream, she revealed, "We're getting married soon." She even asked Mars to help choose a special song for the occasion.

The couple has also joked about keeping their wedding simple. In a 2024 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Gaga said they had discussed “going to the courthouse” and ordering Chinese food. Polansky later told Rolling Stone that they didn't want a huge wedding and already felt married in many ways.

All about Lady Gaga's USD 2 million engagement ring

While the wedding rumors remain unconfirmed, Gaga's engagement ring is very real. The singer got engaged on April Fools' Day, which makes their story every bit as unconventional and iconic as Gaga herself.

Polansky proposed to Gaga on April 1, 2024, during a rock-climbing trip. Because it happened on April Fool's Day, Gaga initially thought he might be joking. Gaga said Polansky asked whether he could propose before actually doing it, rather than getting down on one knee at the top of their climb. The couple eventually confirmed their engagement publicly in July 2024, when Gaga accidentally referred to Polansky as her "fiancé" while meeting French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics.

Her custom ring features a huge, elongated oval-cut diamond set in an 18-karat white-and-rose-gold band. The pavé setting includes natural pink ombré diamonds, while a hidden halo of white diamonds sits beneath the center stone. Estimates of the center diamond's size vary, with reports placing it around 10 carats and some estimates reaching as high as 20 carats.

The ring's value has likewise been estimated anywhere from about USD 500,000 to more than USD 2 million, depending on the stone's size and quality. Sofia Jewelry in Mill Valley, California, designed and handmade the ring, and Gaga has shown it off at major events including the Venice Film Festival and the Grammys.

Polansky reportedly first gave Gaga a playful resin ring containing a real blade of grass, inspired by an earlier conversation between the couple. The sweet gesture later inspired Gaga's song Blade of Grass from her Mayhem era.
