Sydney Sweeney's nude ad sparks another debate

Sydney Sweeney recently collaborated with Novig's Just Sports campaign, where she appeared nude. A glimpse of her new ad was posted on her social media handle, and it instantly sparked a debate, with critics questioning her choices. This is not the first time that Sydney has come under fire; for Euphoria 3, she also had to face several questions. However, she, as of now, has not reacted to the recent debate that is up about her new advertisement.

Speaking about her bold scenes, in an interview with W Magazine, Sydney said that she doesn't really get nervous, as she feels that she owes everything to the character she's playing on-screen. She believes that the female body is a 'powerful thing'.

Yet, in another interview, Sweeney mentioned that because of her bold appearance, a lot of people never took her seriously. The actress talked about the industry's dual standards and stated that when a male actor plays a role that involves being nude, it's fine; when it comes to an actress, it just brings bullies and trolls.

Sydney Sweeney's massive transformation over the years has surely left everyone shocked, thereby sparking the never-ending plastic surgery debate. Sydney herself revealed that she never really got any work done, and the reason was that she's 'scared of needles'. People always questioned Sydney about whether her 'breasts are real'. The actress was even put under a lie detector test.

It was last year when, during a lie detector test, Sydney's The Housemaid costar Amanda Seyfried asked her, 'Are your boobs real?' Sydney replied with a 'yes', which led Amanda to ask whether the Euphoria actress had gotten any work done on her bust. Sydney denied, stating, "No, I've never gotten any work done anywhere." The polygraph examiner revealed that the result was actually 'truthful'.

However, in 2023, Sydney revealed that she considered getting a boob-job after turning 18, as she revealed being 'uncomfortable' and also mentioned that she would feel comfortable in loose-fitting T-shirts. It was Sydney's mom who stopped her from doing it. Sydney said listening to her was the best thing she had done. To quote the actress:

"I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were. I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller. My mom told me, ‘Don't do it. You'll regret it in college.' And I'm so glad I didn't. I like them. They're my best friends. Everybody's body is beautiful. When you are confident and you're happy within is when it really shows to other people."
