Mimi Chakraborty is a well-known Bengali actress who started her career as a model and participated in Femina Miss India. The actress stepped into acting by starring in the daily soap Champion. Her breakthrough came with her appearance as 'Pupe' in Gaaner Oparey. Following this, Mimi tried her hand in Bengali cinema and grabbed attention with her skills.

Mimi's debut was with the feature film, Bapi Bari Ja back in 2012. Following this, she starred in several Bengali movies such as Bojhena Shey Bojhena, Proloy, Yoddha, Shudhu Tomari Jonyo, Posto, Dhananjoy, Crisscross, Dracula Sir, and Raktabeej, among others. Mimi's personal life with Raj Chakraborty was once one of the hottest topics of discussion. However, recent reports claimed that the actress is set to marry in December 2026.

Mimi Chakraborty is reportedly going to tie the knot in December 2026. The venue is said to be Kalimpong. The actress hasn't reacted to the buzz about her wedding, which has been up for the last two days. While nothing much is known about Mimi's alleged groom, it's known that he's not someone from the entertainment industry. Earlier, reports claimed that Mimi's to-be husband is an officer in the Indian Navy. 

A report by Sangbad Protidin revealed that the actress' alleged to-be husband's name is Siddharth. Sangbad Protidin also released a photo of Mimi with her friends and reported that Siddharth was also present in the photo. Mimi has not yet reacted to the speculation surrounding her personal life; however, reports claim preparations are in full swing.

Mimi Chakraborty's past relationship with Raj Chakraborty

Mimi's personal life had been a massive topic of discussion during the time she began her career with Bengali films. Mimi was in a long-term relationship with Raj Chakraborty. Raj and Mimi collaborated on several projects, the first being one of the actress's famous films, Bojhena Shey Bojhena. The duo had been together for several years, however, things changed when the actress went to Turkey to shoot for a film, Gangster.

If the reports from back then are to be believed, everything was fine between the couple before she went to Turkey, and after that their bond faced a massive setback, leading to their breakup. Mimi mentioned that the relationship ended because personal expectations weren't met and also because of some misunderstandings. However, rumours claimed that Mimi formed a close bond with someone in Turkey, which eventually strained her relationship with Raj. 

During an interview with The Times of India, the actress was asked about her friendship with someone named Melih Gulhan Kizilkaya; she quipped, 'So? Can't I have friends?' Mimi and Raj didn't talk about their relationship in public when they were dating, and for the same reason, the actress didn't want to go into detail after the breakup, as she said that she considered her ex to be someone who had helped her at the early stage of her career.

Mimi also expressed her hurt over Raj calling her mom and telling her that she was seeing someone in Turkey. The actress also disclosed the fact that there were middlemen between them. Sharing more about it, the actress once said:

"Actually, there were too many middlemen between us, who made up their own stories. I told Raj to be patient and wait to hear me out when I would return from Turkey. I told him we could solve it, but he chose to believe the middlemen and not me. My problem is, I give something a lot of time and space, but once it's over, it's over. The shutters are down now. But I will never forget how Raj helped me."

However, Raj and Mimi moved on long ago. Raj is happily married to Subhashree Ganguly, and they are parents to two kids. On the other hand, Tollywood is filled with buzz about Mimi's alleged impending wedding.
