Kapoor also shared that he feels like the feeling of excitement was not there in him when he did the film. He shared:

Arjun Kapoor shares his doubts about doing the film, the baggage he carried and the fear of being rejected
Amid the success of Singham Again, Arjun reflected on the time when he gave 7 back-to-back flops. He shared that he used to wonder if things would work out for him if people would care about him again. He also shared that Rohit Shetty filmed his scenes in shots so that he could process his emotions while filming. He concluded by saying his doubts were not about his ability to portray the character, but rather if people will like it.
"I used to wonder sometimes, ‘What’s the point of it all? Is it really going to pan out? Am I going to be in love with cinema again? Are people really going to care about me again? Is the audience going to reject me? Question it? I was going through all that while I was doing the film. Not in the moment of the shot, but my schedule was scattered while I shot for 50-odd days for the film. I have never been with all the other actors to that degree, I was very isolated during my shoot. The baggage was there. I didn’t doubt my ability to do the role, I doubted whether people would engage."
