A user penned, "Congratulations. Hope this marriage lasts forever." It is worth mentioning that it was not Jennifer’s first marriage. Earlier, she was married to TV actor Karan Singh Grover from 2012 to 2014. Jennifer and Karan were among the most beloved couples on TV before their split. They met on the sets of the TV series, Dill Mill Gayye in 2009, portraying the lead characters, 'Dr. Armaan' and 'Dr. Riddhima Gupta.'
Eventually, their on-screen chemistry transitioned into real-life romance. The former couple tied the knot in April 2012 after dating for two to three years. However, after two years of marriage, Jennifer and Karan called it quits. Following their split, Jennifer revealed that she faced immense scepticism from those close to her. However, she listened to her heart and got married to Karan. Speaking about the same, in an interview Jennifer shared:
"There was so much noise around me. There were so many voices in my head... That decision of mine everybody questioned, including my parents, and I just didn't want to listen to them."
Jennifer Winget's take on love and relationships
Amid her second marriage to William Ishmael, Jennifer’s statement on love and relationships resurfaced. In a past interview with Indian Express, Jennifer shared that second chances in love and relationships are the most beautiful thing. She also explained how the universe works. In her words:
"The universe works most miraculously, and whenever a door is shut, another does open soon. I think it’s the most beautiful emotion. Also, it’s never limited to a relationship, for you love your parents, friends and even your work. As for marriage, I don’t know; we will see to that. The lessons you learn in your hardest times are the lessons that truly shape you. I have no regrets and wouldn't change a damn thing. For me, lying is a big red flag in a relationship."
Congratulations to the newlyweds, Jennifer Winget and William Ishmael.
