'I Actually Lied...' Zendaya And Tom Holland Aren't 'Officially Married', Says Her Stylist Law Roach

Zendaya and Tom Holland are one of the most celebrated on-screen and off-screen couples in Hollywood. The duo first met back in 2016 on the set of Spider-Man. Following that, the duo ignited dating buzz, and years later, in 2021, they confirmed they were dating. Zendaya and Tom Holland exchanged rings in 2025, and Tom publicly called her 'fiancée'. 

However, a few months ago, Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, during a red carpet, left everyone shocked when he said that the duo had already gotten married. While Zendaya and Tom haven't commented on the matter, the actress was seen flaunting her wedding rings at the following events. Tom, as well, referred to Zendaya as 'wife' which left everyone somewhat believe that the wedding had already taken place. On August 4, 2026, PEOPLE reported that the couple had a private reception.

However, Law Roach now made another comment, where he claimed to have 'lied'. Law Roach, who's Zendaya's stylist, has a history of misdirecting speculation about the couple. On September 14, 2026, on the red carpet of the Emmy Awards, Law Roach said that Zendaya and Tom Holland 'aren't officially married'.

Speaking to CNN & Variety Red Carpet Live: TV’s Biggest Night, Zendaya's long-time stylist said that he had lied before and the couple hasn't actually gotten married 'officially'. Roach also added that the wedding may take place after Zendaya's Dune 3 press tour. Roach said:

“Well, I actually lied, she wasn’t married. They actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s gonna happen after the Dune press tour.”

Zendaya has been having a packed schedule, and she starred in two movies with Tom, The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. At the recent red carpet, Law Roach was asked if he was messing with the reporters previously, and he answered with a 'no', while emphasizing that the official wedding ceremony hasn't happened.

However, he also admitted that he could be lying again. Speaking about the fact that Tom has called Zendaya his 'wife', Law Roach said that she has been his 'wife' for a long time, but that's not 'official'. He mentioned: 

"I mean, she’s been his ‘wife’ for a really long time now, but it’s not official yet."

He also talked about the fake AI-generated wedding photos of the couple and mentioned that he would never dress the actress that 'ugly' on her wedding day. When asked if he would be the one to style Zendaya on her wedding day, he replied with 'Of course'.

There have been several times when Tom Holland appeared to have confirmed his wedding to Zendaya, as he kept calling her 'wife' publicly. During an interview with his The Odyssey co-stars, Tom said that Zendaya wouldn't romance Matt Damon on-screen, as 'she's married to me'. In another interview with Esquire, Tom talked about the AI-generated wedding photos of him and Zendaya and mentioned that his grandmother came across the photos and thought that she was not invited to the wedding. 

When the interviewer asked whether he then had to clarify the same to other family members, he replied, 'they all were there,' while adding, 'that's all you get on that,' when asked to talk further about his wedding.
