Neelam Kothari's Husband, Samir Soni Reveals She Was Treated As A Photographer When They Stepped Out

Neelam Kothari is married to Samir Soni. He revealed the reason behind the actress being seen as a photographer, when they went out.

Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives fame, Neelam Kothari has made her husband, Samir Soni proud. The actress returned with the Netflix show, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives . She was last seen in the 1999 movie, Hum Saath Saath Hain . Neelam's husband, Samir, was always in the world of glitz and glamour. He remembered when the actress had to always turn into a photographer whenever they both stepped out.

When Neelam Kothari had become Samir Soni's official photographer

Samir Soni revealed that his wife, Neelam Kothari, initially hesitated to face the camera because she had been away for some time. During an interview with GPlus, he funnily remembered how fans used to ask Neelam to take pictures of them with Samir if they both were out. However, this changed, and Neelam had a fanbase because of the show. In his words:

“After that people started asking me 'How is ma'am?' This was just after one season. I was like 'wow'. After the second season, it was even bigger because it became one of the top ten international shows for Netflix.

Samir Soni revealed Neelam Kothari was scared about her comeback

Neelam Kothari, made a comeback with Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives , after a hiatus of 20 years. She was worried about what people would say. She had felt that she had aged and that people remembered her image of 20 years back. Neelam was scared, and she did not look the same anymore. Samir motivated her to do the show. However, he was skeptical too. He quipped:

"People's memory is very short… I said it's a reality show; they'll rip you, be rest assured. Their job is that. People who are watching are looking for something to entertain themselves. Honestly, I thought who's going to watch this because I myself don't watch reality TV… I was taking it very lightly, the first season.”

Neelam Kothari's successful comeback

The third season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives was renamed Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. Neelam has had a killer comeback, and her image has also changed. It would not have been possible without the support of her husband, Samir. She embraced change and created her own identity.
