A 35-year-old woman sparked conversation in connection with Jennifer Lopez. The woman, named Cyrena Anne Quast, was arrested on August 30, 2026, for shoplifting. Reportedly, she was accused of stealing two double packs of power tool batteries from a shop in Monticello, which were worth USD 580. Recently, one of her mugshots was released, and it instantly sparked a conversation. The reason, although, isn't her alleged theft but rather her resemblance to the one and only Jennifer Lopez.

Amid this being the internet's new topic to converse about, let's look back at the time when JLo ended up meeting one of her very famous doppelgangers, who even had to hire a bodyguard as fans ended up confusing her with the singer.

Jennifer Lopez's most famous lookalike to date is none other than Mexican-Peruvian woman Connie Peña, who we can say is a professional JLo doppelganger. She looks so similar to the singer that she had to even hire bodyguards to keep JLo's fans at bay, as she allegedly said. She even dyes her hair in Jennifer's signature honey-brown color and wears dresses like hers. Plus, she often has to pose with the singer's fans who mistake her for the singer.

According to Hello!, Pena, once speaking to TV's Un Nuevo Día, shared that JLo's ex-husband, Marc Anthony, was even left wondering if it was the singer when they crossed paths at an award show. This statement shows how striking Pena's resemblance to Jennifer is. She reportedly said:

"I met him years ago and when we first crossed our paths he turned his head like three times."
