Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi-Nze has opened up about the challenges she and her husband, actor Stan Nze, faced during their journey to marriage.

Naija News reports that Blessing spoke in an interview with media personality, Tope Olowoniyan.

She revealed that many people tried to discourage Stan from marrying her because she is older than him.

Some warned that her age could affect their chances of having children, but Stan ignored these opinions and chose to move forward with the marriage.

The actress shared that she was deeply touched when her husband surprised her on Mother’s Day, a gesture that made her reflect on their shared experiences and the strength of their bond.

She recalled the days when she supported him during his early struggles, including sacrifices she made when he had very little.

Blessing said that marrying Stan remains the best decision of her life.

The mother of one expressed gratitude that her husband values their past and the support she gave him, affirming that she would choose him over and over again.

She said: “Marrying my husband has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I remember people told him not to marry me because I was older, but he didn’t listen.

“They even said I might reach menopause without giving birth, yet he still chose me. Through it all, he remembers the ways I supported him when he had nothing and the sacrifices I made for him. I will choose my husband today, tomorrow, and forever.”
