Six Politicians I Prayed For Won Their Elections – Pete Edochie
by Justina Otio · Naija NewsVeteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has disclosed that six politicians who sought his blessings during the 2023 general elections were all victorious.
Edochie made the disclosure while receiving popular streamer, Peller, who paid him a courtesy visit at his Enugu residence recently.
The film icon revealed that six politicians who visited him to seek his blessings with gifts of ram and kolanuts all emerged victorious after he prayed for them.
“Two years ago, six people that were running for political offices came to my house, they brought me a big ram and Kolanuts, I prayed for them and they all won their elections,” he said.
Edochie noted that he is grateful to God because “each time I make a request from God, he always grants it.”
He added, “All the people I have prayed for have all succeeded in everything I have prayed for them for.”
The movie legend prayed for Peller and wished him a successful career.
Responding, Peller thanked Edochie for the warm reception and his kind words.
Meanwhile, Peller has criticised Nigerian musicians over their relationship with streamers.
Naija News reports that Peller, during a recent livestream in Enugu, said many Nigerian musicians prefer granting interviews to foreign influencers and media personalities.
According to Peller, Nigerian musicians only turn to local streamers when their fame is beginning to dwindle.
Peller urged Nigerian entertainers, especially musicians, to embrace local media and influencers, irrespective of their newfound global stardom.
He said, “Nigerian musicians don’t rate local streamers. They will be streaming with Americans, but when they don turn old taker, na then dem go dey find Naija streamers up and down.
“I don catch their scope. Very few Nigerian musicians are kind. Davido, Olamide and Tiwa savage are among the few kind ones.”
