Basketmouth Ex-wife, Elsie Reacts To Paternity Fraud Allegation Over Marriage Breakup

The ex-wife of Nigerian ace comedian, Basketmouth, Elsie Okpocha, has dismissed viral claims that their marriage crashed over paternity fraud.

Naija News reports that this comes following the reports making the rounds online that the ex-couple’s marriage ended because Basketmouth is not the father of Elsie’s kids.

However, in a post on her Instagram story, Elsie questioned whether her ex-husband was aware of the statement.

She wrote, “All you Facebook bloggers fabricating lies. Is Basketmouth aware he made that statement?? You can make up unimaginable stories about me, but please leave my kids out of this nonsense!”

In other news, Nigerian Singer, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has responded to a fan who encouraged him to get married.

The fan shared the advice through a message, which Falz reposted on his Instagram story.

Falz explained that he was not offended by the suggestion.

He pointed out that marriage is widely appreciated in Nigeria and acknowledged that, as an entertainer, aspects of his personal life often become part of his audience’s enjoyment.

The activist added a playful remark about possibly experimenting with marriage to see how it would go.

He said: “It’s not your fault, I am the one who chose to be an entertainer, that means my life is your entertainment. I should just do a quick matrimonial experiment, let’s just see. I appreciate your suggestion.”
