MAI becomes first Myanmar airline to win BCIM award for best company to work for

Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has reportedly won the BCIM award for the best company to work for in Myanmar, making it the first airline in the country to receive this honor, according to sources.

In the 2024 survey of the best companies to work for in Myanmar organized by Jobnet.com.mm, MAI was recorded as one of the companies with the highest ratings in the country, based on the employees' satisfaction with the workplace and the connection between the company and the employees. This record was the first time in the history of MAI that it entered the BCIM list, and was able to record two new milestones as the first airline in Myanmar to win the BCIM award.

The BCIM award is based on 7 key functional areas: alignment with the company's purpose and strategy, management and leadership, occupation, teamwork and communication, opportunities for personal development and career advancement and acknowledgment honors and benefits. The survey is based entirely on employees' personal opinions on factors such as working conditions. The survey was directly collected, conducted, checked the information and published the results in an open and transparent manner by Deloitte Myanmar, which is a world-renowned audit, assurance and advisory services provider.
