Channing Tatum Is Not Running a Burner Account on Instagram

Channing Tatum has played many roles, but he refuses to play one: an anonymous Instagram account writing snarky comments on DeuxMoi. Over the weekend, fans found a now-deleted Instagram page called @bidness_nonya that was commenting rude things about his ex, Zoë Kravitz, and other celebrities, and noticed that the only person following it was the Magic Mike star. “There’s no way Channing Tatum is leaving hate comments on Deuxmoi with his burner account only he follows,” one fan account pointed out on X, assuming the account was in fact Tatum’s. This led people to find more and more comments, some praising Tatum and others trashing Kravitz and her fiancé, Harry Styles.

Tatum insists that the page isn’t his. He posted a statement on his official Instagram page’s story, denying the rumor and laughing at the absurdity of the idea. “Yo i truly can’t believe yall think this is what l’m doing with my free time. Fuckin hilarious. Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it? Wtf come on,” he wrote on September 21. “But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account ©channingtatum.” People speculates that the page might have been a former Tatum fan account, as he follows many fan pages, and the account holder might’ve rebranded the account as a snarky page. Maybe this is a good lesson for celebrities to do a following check, in case one of their fan accounts went rouge.
