Whitney Leavitt Is Getting Her Own Reality Show
by Bethy Squires · VULTUREWill they call it Love It or Leavitt, or will the SEO overlap too closely with Lovett or Leave It? Whitney Leavitt is getting her own Hulu reality series from the same production company that makes The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The series loglines say it will be about “firebrand Whitney Leavitt and her family as they navigate her newfound fame and career ambitions while always putting family first.” Leavitt is also serving as a producer. The show has been rumored for a while, to the point at which Leavitt actually made a supercut of all the online chatter to tease the official announcement.
This is good strat for both Leavitt and the greater SLOMW ecosystem. Leavitt has been majorly branching out from the Utah-based mise-en-scène of that show. She moved to New York for her box-office-record-breaking run on Chicago and has stayed there for her holiday romcom film debut. Mormon Wives remains in flux, as Leavitt, Demi Engemann, Mikayla Matthews, and Taylor Frankie Paul have all left the series. Jen Affleck is still in, though!
