Mick Jagger, Meet Your Movie Son, Josh O’Connor

Mick Jagger is going to be Josh O’Connor’s father on the big screen. He was spotted on the set of Alice Rohrwacher’s adaptation of Three Incestuous Sisters in Italy. His helicopter was seen landing on Stromboli, where the movie is being filmed, per La Sicilia. “He will be treated like all guests, because the island offers the same welcoming treatment to everyone, trying to make tourists feel at home,” a local tells the outlet. The Rolling Stones front man is playing the lighthouse keeper and the father of O’Connor’s character, Paris, who is the object of desire for three sisters, played by Saoirse Ronan, Jessie Buckley, and Dakota Johnson.

Based on the graphic novel by Audrey Niffenegger, the film will follow three sisters who all fall in love with the lighthouse keeper’s son, and all hell breaks loose. The book only had a limited pressing in 2005 so, if you were hoping to get a chance to read the book before the movie comes out, you might need a little luck or a library card.
