Billy Evans Claims He Had the Sniffles in You Can See Everything

by · VULTURE

Billy Evans just needed some allergy medicine during the second half of You Can See Everything. In an AMA on X, Evans explained multiple times why he was sniffling so much during the Austin scenes of the documentary. “Solo parenting 2 toddlers you are sick approx 75% of days,” he wrote on November 2. “Allergies in Austin TX are no joke. I take Claritin daily. Much less sniffling.” Evans asked for other people from Austin to “back [him] up.” He also denied allegations of cocaine or substance abuse. “Never been a fan,” Evans replied after he clarified his vices are nicotine and caffeine.

In addition to addressing his sniffles, he defends his relationship with Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. He said that anyone in their lives would find the idea that Evans controls Holmes to be “hilarious.” He added: “She’s fiercely independent, strongwilled, and my best friend. We are partners in every sense. We challenge each other, disagree, and face the world together. Her closest friends are also some of my closest friends. If I ever mistreated her, they’d have my head.” Despite all the criticism that came with filming, Evans says he doesn’t regret participating in the documentary. He also admitted he’d told a lie before in the same AMA, but why would he deceive us?
