Prince William Is a Nolan Guy

Royals: They’re just like us. Prince William made a surprise appearance on the Graham Norton Show to celebrate the Earthshot Prize, which he spearheads. On the couch, he sounded a lot like a guy on a first date asked about his favorite movies. “I love getting immersed in deep-thinking films,” the future king told Norton, per Variety. “I like action films, too, but I like something a bit different.” He said he likes Christopher Nolan, who does, in fact, make action films. Just, you know, smart and thoughtful ones. “I’m a big fan of everything Christopher Nolan does,” the Prince said. “His films are fantastic — The Dark Knight series is psychologically dark and deep, and I absolutely love that. He takes concepts that are completely out there and makes them incredibly entertaining.”

The Prince of Wales also revealed that he and his family watch the British sensation Celebrity Traitors. “I love it, the family love it,” he said. “Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly.” He even tried to get information out of contestant Ross Kemp. “I saw Ross Kemp the day after the first episode and I couldn’t help but try — in the most appropriate way — to touch him to see what reaction I got from him,” the prince said. “Turns out he was really jumpy!” Maybe a royal should … go on next season? Would any celebrities feel comfortable voting Queen Camilla off?
