How to Watch the 2026 Tony Awards

by · VULTURE

There won’t be a Knicks game this Sunday, but people looking to watch something full of New York pride should not despair. The theater industry’s biggest night, the Tony Awards, is June 7, bringing an end to the 2025–26 theater season. This was a relatively small one with just 30 new Broadway productions, which is a marked decrease from last year’s 42. Still, the Tonys are as competitive as ever and the ceremony will be hosted by P!nk, who just might fly, so it’s well worth tuning in.

Below, find your guide to watching the 2026 Tony Awards.

When are the Tonys?

The Tony Awards ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. ET on June 7. Hosted by the pop singer P!nk, there will be performances from every Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical nominee. We’re particularly looking forward to seeing how the major spectacles like Cats: The Jellicle Ball and The Lost Boys move into Radio City Music Hall for just one number.

What’s the deal with the preshow?

Not all of the Tonys are given out during the main ceremony. The preshow, which will include a lot of the technical awards, begins at 6:35 p.m. ET. Hosted by Tituss Burgess and Laura Benanti, that earlier ceremony airs on the free network Pluto TV.

Where can I watch the Tony Awards?

The ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+. If you’re a Capital One Mastercard cardholder, avail yourself of a presale for the ceremony, purchase VIP ticket packages, or grab tickets to the official Tonys Watch Party via Capital One Entertainment. And everyone is welcome to follow along with Vulture’s live coverage.
