Ben Affleck Doesn’t Understand How Cool His Candid Pics Are

One of the internet’s greatest gifts has been candid paparazzi photos of Ben Affleck spilling Dunkin Donuts, disgruntledly smoking, and snacking on fast food in drive-thrus. But unfortunately, it doesn’t look like he shares the same appreciation for his relatability. “You should never be photographed eating or smoking,” he tells Kareem Rahma on the latest episode of Subway Takes. “It hasn’t served me very well.” Rahma is shocked by this, as it’s one of the things he finds most relatable about Affleck. Us, too! “With the smoking, part of the reason I like you so much is ’cause it looks cool,” Rahma says. Surely Cig Influencers would agree.

The duo finds common ground in feeling that the pap photos distract from the Oscar winner’s work. “You know what bothers me about everything? I don’t like that your pictures sometimes overshadow your work,” Rahma says. “I don’t like that shit either, brother. Me and you are united in this,” Affleck laughs. “I’m like, ‘Why are you guys posting this photo of him holding a lot of Dunkin Donuts? He made Argo! He made Argo! Don’t forget he made Argo!’” He also made Good Will Hunting — and hopefully he does find the good will in his cool pics.
