In a statement, the record label said the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, December 22, at the backstage area of the event.
According to Chocolate City, the staff member, identified as Feyi Ajayi, was backstage with another artiste signed to the label when Odumodublvck allegedly approached him.
“According to multiple eyewitnesses, Tochukwu approached Mr Ajayi, made threatening statements about Chocolate City and its leadership, and then headbutted him without provocation,” the statement said.

The label alleged that when a bodyguard intervened, Odumodublvck and his associates poured drinks on Ajayi while hurling expletives at Chocolate City and its executives.
Chocolate City said Ajayi was hospitalised following the incident and is currently receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the assault.
“While he is responding well to treatment, the severity of the attack required immediate medical attention,” the label added.

The music company described the incident as part of what it called a year-long pattern of violent behaviour involving the rapper and members of the label.
It listed several alleged confrontations, including a December 2024 incident in which Odumodublvck was accused of assaulting Blaqbonez at Landmark Beach and taking his eyeglasses.
Chocolate City also alleged that in March 2025, the rapper tracked Blaqbonez to a hotel in Uyo, cornered him in an elevator with associates, attempted to punch him, and threatened that he “had guns”.
The label further claimed that Odumodublvck and his associates harassed Blaqbonez’s manager Morin Oluwatobi on the same day.

Other allegations include an attack on Chocolate City artiste Major AJ at a public eatery in March 2025, an attempted assault on Blaqbonez at a fashion show in England in September 2025, and sustained cyberbullying and threats against Chocolate City executive Osagie Onobun in October 2025.
“Throughout 2024-2025, Tochukwu sent over 100 threatening messages to Blaqbonez via social media and personal phone numbers, escalating to calls and direct messages to Chocolate City executives. These threats have extended to their family members and anyone associated with them,” the statement reads.
“He has publicly attacked other artists and spread false narratives in attempts to defame Blaqbonez’s character and damage Chocolate City’s reputation.
“He has called show promoters to disrupt Blaqbonez’s performances and threatened industry colleagues who support Blaqbonez, urging them to ostracize him or become targets themselves.

“His targets now include Ms. Oluwatobi, Mr. Ajayi, Mr. Onobun, multiple Chocolate City artists, other industry professionals, and our executives.
“These assaults and threats are well-documented, and this escalating pattern of violence and intimidation cannot continue.”
As of the time of filing this report, Odumodublvck has not responded to the allegations.
