The annual fundraising event benefits the museum’s costume institute in Manhattan, drawing the brightest stars from film, television, and music.
Each year’s gala celebrates the theme of the costume institute’s exhibition, which also sets the evening’s dress code for guests.
This year’s theme is ‘costume art,’ with the accompanying dress code: fashion is art’.
