Phyno, the Nigerian rap star, has called on controversial activist VeryDarkMan to withdraw the case against cryptocurrency entrepreneur Blord.

Blord was recently remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre over allegations of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and the unauthorised use of VeryDarkMan’s identity.

The activist had accused Blord of using his image for an unauthorised advertisement, which led the court to order his remand until April 27, 2026.

The dramatic moment unfolded mid-performance at the International Conference Centre in Enugu. With VeryDarkMan standing beside him on stage, Phyno made his request directly.

“I have a request. I’m just going to say it — whether you respond or not is up to you. My brother, please withdraw the case. I know I didn’t tell you about it, but withdraw the case,” he said.

Although Phyno did not mention Blord by name, the reference to VDM’s recent legal dispute was clear. VeryDarkMan, however, did not respond to the plea on stage.

The Easter Sunday concert, held on April 5, 2026, was a major homecoming for Phyno.

Curated by Director Pink, the show featured a dramatic entrance, high-energy performances, and appearances by Olamide, Jeriq, Aguero Banks, Wande Coal, Cheque, Tuffking, Qing Madi, and Evado.

Phyno also brought his daughter on stage during the event.
