ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae Rae to participate in Sanulrim's 50th anniversary tribute project
by spjw99 · allkpopKim Tae Rae of ZEROBASEONE is set to lend his voice to a special project honoring the legendary rock band Sanulrim. According to his agency WAKEONE on July 2, Kim Tae Rae will be the next artist to participate in the band's 50th anniversary tribute project.
The project celebrates Sanulrim's upcoming 50th anniversary by having various junior artists and bands release their own reinterpretations of the band's classic songs each month. Previous participants in this tribute series include renowned acts such as Buwhal, YB (Yoon Do Hyun Band), Daybreak, Wonstein, YudabinBand, and Touched.
Kim Tae Rae will be covering "Hoesang," a beloved track originally released by Sanulrim in 1982. As a member of ZEROBASEONE who has been recognized for his vocal talents through both group activities and OSTs, anticipation is high for how he will bring his unique emotional color to the timeless classic.
Through his agency, Kim Tae Rae shared his excitement, stating, "It's a true honor to participate in such a meaningful project celebrating Sanulrim's 50th anniversary. I'm even happier to have this precious opportunity to sing a song I've listened to since I was young. I sincerely congratulate Sanulrim on their 50th debut anniversary."
Kim Tae Rae's remake of "Hoesang" is scheduled to be released on all major online music platforms on July 23 at 6 PM KST. Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is also gearing up for a comeback in Japan with their second EP, 'Kaikilove'.
