Singer Gil Gun recently opened up about a shocking experience from her past.

On September 29, she appeared on the YouTube channel 'Namu Miki Detective Agency' to share her story.

In the video, Gil Gun recalled, "As I released albums, my agencies kept changing. The reason was because, at the time, the company I was with... there were a lot of such things going on with singers." Hesitantly, she continued, "I told them, 'I’ll sign with you, as long as I don’t have to provide sexual favors.'"

Comedian Park Kwang Soo, who was also in the video, asked, "While you didn’t do it, were you aware of others who had experienced that?"

Gil Gun responded by recounting a specific incident: "I was invited to a bar. At the time, I was wearing short workout shorts and had a messy hairstyle. I walked in with a big bag, and I was the only one dressed like that. Everyone else was dressed up glamorously. I asked, 'Why did you call me here? I don’t understand why I’m here,' and they responded, 'We just wanted to see your face, Gun.' But suddenly, I noticed some older men sitting next to me."

Sensing something was wrong, she excused herself, saying, "I felt uncomfortable and told my senior, 'I’ll leave now.' After I left, I received a call where they explained what they wanted me to do," she said, recalling that shocking moment.

Gil Gun admitted, "When I heard it for the first time, I cried. I was scared. I think I was just too young at the time, and I had never heard anything like that before. I told them, 'I go to church, I don’t do things like that.'"

Park Kwang Soo expressed his anger, saying, "That senior is also a bad person. I’m sure she was getting something in return by trying to connect you. That’s why she was pushing you into that situation."

Previously, Gil Gun also drew attention when she exposed mistreatment from her former agency on the YouTube channel 'Weekly Trot.'

She revealed, "I was promised a contract with the condition that I wouldn’t have to provide sexual favors, but the agency CEO would call me to his karaoke bar late at night, saying there were potential investors. He would make me sing and dance. I’d come home exhausted at 2 AM, only to be told to go back out at 3 AM." She added, "Once, I asked him, 'Why are you doing this to me?' and he responded, 'I’m not asking you for sexual favors, am I?'"

Gil Gun, originally a dancer, made her debut in 2004 with the single 'My Name Is KG.' In 2022, she transitioned to trot music and participated in 'Miss Trot 3' on TV Chosun last year.
