Hong Yi Seol denies dating rumors with Heo Nam Jun, calls reports completely untrue

Hong Yi Seol has directly addressed and denied recent dating rumors involving actor Heo Nam Jun.

On June 13 KST, Hong Yi Seol posted a statement on her Instagram to clarify the speculation that had been circulating online.

She explained that the two are not romantically involved and described their relationship as that of close colleagues who became acquainted during their university years. She also added that she decided to speak out to prevent further speculation that could potentially cause inconvenience to the other actor.

The dating rumors initially surfaced on online communities, where posts suggested that the two actors were in a relationship. However, Hong Yi Seol’s statement has effectively denied the speculation.

Heo Nam Jun is currently appearing in SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama 'Brave New World', where he plays the character Cha Se Gye. Hong Yi Seol also appears in the series in a supporting role.

Hello, this is Hong Yi Seol.There have been some stories circulating about me recently, so I wanted to carefully share a few words.The actor being mentioned and I are simply good colleagues who became close while taking classes together during our university years. The dating rumors are absolutely not true.I hesitated to speak up because I was worried that my statement might lead to further misunderstandings. However, as the continued speculation seemed like it could cause inconvenience to the other actor, I decided to address it directly.The dating rumors currently circulating, as well as the stories related to the drama, are all untrue, so there is no need to worry.I would appreciate it if everyone could refrain from further speculation.I hope you all have a relaxing weekend.
