Park Ji Hoon returns with ‘RE:FLECT’ after 3 years
by Minsoo-Kim · allkpopPark Ji Hoon is making his long-awaited return to music with a more mature and introspective sound.
On April 29 at 6 PM KST, Park Ji Hoon will release his first single album 'RE:FLECT' through major streaming platforms. The project marks his first comeback as a singer in approximately three years, following his mini album 'Blank or Black' released in April 2023, during which he focused primarily on acting.
'RE:FLECT' captures a reflective journey—revisiting past moments and emotions to better understand the present self. Rather than simple nostalgia, the album presents a deeper narrative of growth, exploring lingering memories and unfamiliar feelings through Park Ji Hoon’s delicate perspective.
The title track “Bodyelse” is a mid-tempo pop dance song that blends dreamy synthesizers with emotional guitar riffs. It portrays the realization that an unexplainable feeling within everyday life ultimately leads back to “you,” highlighted by a catchy yet soothing chorus.
The album also includes “Watercolor,” which expresses emotions like spreading paint through a refreshing sound, and “I can’t hold your hand anymore,” a pop ballad featuring soft acoustic guitar and restrained vocals. Together, the three tracks form a cohesive emotional arc, showcasing Park Ji Hoon’s expanded musical range.
With his thoughtful approach and matured artistry, 'RE:FLECT' is expected to signal a new chapter in Park Ji Hoon’s career.
